Tees Valley Lakes – Terms & Conditions
1. Membership & Booking
- Membership Required: Valid membership is mandatory to book tickets and fish at all Tees Valley Lakes venues.
- Booking Limit: Tickets can be booked up to 12 months in advance.
- Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Named Bookings: No duplicate bookings allowed. If booking for a friend, the booking must be made in their name.Â
2. Ticket Times & SeasonsÂ
- 24hr Tickets: Valid from 10:00 am to 10:00 am the following day.
- Day Tickets: Valid from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
- Early Bird Tickets:Â Allow early entry, Valid from 6:00 am (subject to availability)
- Access: Entry to the lake is permitted from 10:00 am.
- Summer Season: March to November.
- Winter Season: November to February.
- Winter Ticket Usage: Discounted Winter tickets must be used during the winter season and cannot be rescheduled to summer dates.Â
3. Amendments & CancellationsÂ
- Amendments (up to 48hrs): Tickets can be rescheduled for alternative days up to 48 hours before the booked date via the confirmation email or text to 07980 179585. Any price difference must be paid on arrival.
- No Cancellation Policy: Once purchased, tickets cannot be cancelled, transferred, exchanged, refunded, or returned.
- Inside 48hrs: Tickets cannot be rebooked or cancelled within 48 hours of the start time.
- Closures: In the event of fishery closure due to natural causes (e.g., lake freezing), an account credit will be given for any unused full-price tickets.Â
4. Member Conduct & Pay on DayÂ
- Pay on Day Restrictions: If a member fails to attend a “pay on day” booking, or cancels such a booking more than once, they will lose the privilege of making further “pay on day” bookings.
- Suspension: Failure to attend a “pay on day” booking will result in membership suspension until all owed payments are paid in full, plus a 5% surcharge to cover card fees.
- Future Bookings: Members with a history of non-attendance may be restricted to online bookings only.5. Lake Closure PolicyIf a lake closes due to spawning, freezing, or maintenance, TVL will credit your online account so you can rebook your session. You must use all credits within one year of issue, or they will expire.

If a lake closes due to spawning, freezing, or maintenance, TVL will credit your online account so you can rebook your session. You must use all credits within one year of issue, or they will expire.
- Spawning: Lakes close immediately for up to 7 days if multiple carp show signs of spawning.
- Frozen Lakes: Lakes close during freezes and reopen once the water thaws.
- Maintenance: Lakes &/or Swims close whenever necessary work is required.
6. Credit Policy
All credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. Any unused credit will expire and become void after this one-year period.
